The window contains 4 areas: Top left the table of cross-sections with basic information, bottom left the table of parameters describing the actual dimensions of the section, and right a graphic presentation of the cross-section.

- Group: Group name of the cross-section
- Name: Name of the individual cross-section (variant of grouped cross-sections)
- Catalogue Name: Name of the respective catalog cross-section in the case the cross-section has been taken over from the predefined cross-section catalog.
- N-Part: Number of individual Parts of the cross-section

Actual dimensions of a catalogue section are described by a set of variable. If the cross-section is based on a catalog section, the respective variables are listed in this lower table.
- Variable:Name of the variable
- Value:Numerical value of the variable
- Unit type:Unit of the variable
- Description:Text for describing the variable

The graphical view shows the cross section with its element mesh.
